The winter of 2000-2001 was an exceptionally snowy one.
After the final nor'easter dumped about 2-3 feet of snow in March,
there was anywhere from 4-6 feet of snow on the ground.

This was before the final storm.  The two humps are our buried bushes.  Between them, you can just make out the top of the four foot fence around the pool. Before the final big storm.  This is the path to where the outdoor hot tub is. (Note: hot tub is no longer open in the winter, because we hate having to shovel over to it.)

After the final big storm. This is the decorative fence leading up the ramp to room 3. It's about 2 1/2 feet tall, and the snow is about 6 feet deep. Another shot of the ramp seen in the photo to the left.

We struggle to keep the snow off of our front deck.
